Hey Josh! I am messaging from Internet Recovery. For some reason, every time I turn on my Mac, I get a strange folder with a question mark. Can you help me? I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Air with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. Thank you!

Thank you for writing! I'm sorry for the unfortunate situation with your MacBook Air M1with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Turning on your computer and have it not work is horrible!
As for a solution, you may need to reinstall your Operating System. In Internet Recovery, there should be an option above 'Web Browser' that says "Reinstall MacOS" and then an name like "Big Sur" or "Sonoma". Make sure you're connected to the internet (Which I'm sure you are!), select it, and then follow the instructions. This will take a while, so go make yourself a nice, big bowl of Mac & Cheese and watch your favorite movie in the meantime!
